2023: YWC Concludes Plan To Endorse Tinubu In Ibadan

Yoruba World Congres (YWC), an umbrella body of all self determination groups and social cultural organization of Yoruba descent worldwide has concluded all plans for the endorsement of Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential flagbearer in Ibadan, Oyo State capital.
The event is scheduled to hold on Thursday, January 26, 2022 at Mapo Hall, Ibadan.
This statement, a copy of which was received by The Bell Online News on Thursday was personally signed by Engr. Tajudeen Raheem, the Leader of the organization.
Engr. Raheem while justifying the group p endorsement of Tinubu stated that, “as a group, we have decided to give our support to the APC candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu whose manifesto mirrors our objectives and with the hope that he will return Nigeria’s glory and he will bring the cohesion and peace required for the progress of the country”.
The group which had earlier endorsed the APC flag bearer last October in London, the headquarters of the organization and another in Ekiti State is leaving no stone unturned to do another one in Ibadan this January.
“It may interest you that a formal endorsement of this type was done on the 22nd of October, at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel, Stratford, London, where eminent personalities like National Chairman of TSSG-Dispora Amb. Azeez Salam; the Director-General, TSSG, Otunba Jafarun Brahimo; Alhaja Oluwaranti A. Majolagbe, Hajia Aiysat Gbajabiamila, Hon. Oladapo Abeeb and others were in attendance”.
This event according to Engr. Raheem will be a platform to share the progress of what the organization has achieved so far and to share the future plans of the group for global cooperation in advancing the course of Yoruba development.
