Atiku, Okowa Pull-Out of NTA Organized Presidential Town Hall Meeting
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar and his running mate Ifeanyi Okowa have pulled out from a presidential town hall meeting.
The Bell News reports that the presidential town hall meeting known as ‘The Candidates’ is organized by the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA).
The TV station had earlier announced on Twitter that they would be hosting Atiku and Okowa Today, the 22nd of November.
They wrote, “The Candidates Presidential Townhall Series will be hosting Atiku Abubakar the presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the 2023 general elections. Time: 7.00pm”
However, in another tweet, the TV station has once again announced that Atiku and his running mate could not keep the appointment due to unforeseeable circumstances.
The tweet read, ” Due to unavoidable conflicts, Alh. Atiku Abubakar and his running mate, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa of the People’s Democratic Party, will not be participating.”
