How God Sent An ‘Angel’ To Pay Off A Debt That Would Have Landed Me In Police Custody – Bola Are
Evangelist Dr. Bola Are popularly called ‘Mama Bola Are’ has disclosed how God miraculously used a man she never met to pay off a debt which would have landed her in a police custody.
The renowned gospel singer while revealing the incidence that led to the testimony disclosed that God sent the man whom she said came all the way from United States of America to hand over the money which she used to pay off the debt that would have made a nonsense of her calling and her music ministry.
Mama Bola Are who made this revelation in a video uploaded on the verified Facebook page of YES FM, an Ibadan based radio station, explained that the debt was incurred as a result of church’s project she carried out adding that she narrowly escaped being whisked away by the police men that were brought to her church by the Creditor.
The Gospel singer attributed the sending of the ‘angel’ by God to the recording of one of her popular songs, Sugbon Kan Nbe L’aye Mi, which according to her was waxed because of her inability to pay off the debt and which she said if not for God’s intervention the people brought by the Creditor to arrest her would have taken her right there in the presence of Church members that look up to her.
In her words, “Having narrowly escaped the uniformed men brought by the creditor, i went to the Church praying and begging God to save me from the impending embarrassment.
“I challenged God that the debt was spent on His house because I used the money to buy roofing sheets and planks used in roofing the Church popularly known as Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Agbala Oluwa located at 37/39, Ikosi Ketu Cele Bus Stop and this Church is still there up till today.
“I was saying to myself what would have happened to my career and how would church members and people in the area who had respected God in me being the founder of the Church have felt seeing me being harassed by the policemen.
“It was in this state of mind that i went to EMI Studio in Lagos to record the song, Sugbon Kan Nbe L’aye Mi. I got inspiration for the song based on what was happening to me that day. It is in that Album Bola Are Volume 28 that i recorded another song, Eyin Oba Ogo..
“I was in the cubicle singing and praising God not knowing that God had sent someone to come and pay off the debt. i finished recording in the studio only for Samuel Nelson to hand over #150 dollars to me saying a man who said he is from United States of America asked him to give me the money.
“According to Samuel, the stranger was on stripped short sleeve shirt with a navy blue trouser dropped the money and left. There and then i told my people there to go and exchange the money. I called my creditor that very day and paid my debt.”
