A renowned Christian Cleric, Pastor Femi Emmanuel has disclosed that
Christian Clerics in the country are partly responsible for Nigeria’s
economic crunch.
Pastor Emmanuel made this disclosure while delivering a sermon during a
Facebook sponsored broadcast monitored by The Bell Online News.
Pastor Emmanuel posited that the preference for imported suits by foremost
Nigeria based Christian Clerics definitely has its negative impact on the
country’s economy.
The Ibadan based foremost preacher remarked that the day God ministered to
him at the Redeem Camp was the last time he stopped wearing his over two
hundreds exotic suits.
Pastor Emmanuel who is known for his bluntness while preaching remarked
that there is no way Nigeria can experience an economic turn around if
Nigerians don’t form the habits of patronizing Nigeria made products.
In the words of the politician-turned Pastor, “a lot of people have not
observed that i have stopped wearing my imported suits. It happened in the
middle of a prayer session at the Redeem Camp during a Ministers’
conference when Holy Spirit spoke to me that we might be praying in vain if
we the initiators of the prayers have refused to do the needful.
“The Holy Spirit called my attention to the fact that all the Ministers of
God praying with all their energies for upturn of our country’s economic
fortune were putting on imported suits.
“How do we then expect God to answer a prayer that we ourselves are the
architect? It was right there i made a decision that i will be patronizing
our domestic made products, he concluded.
